Think my post got lost on this newfangled site, basically I had a similar thing where I couldn't play sport so developed an interest in nature and combined that with photography and have got a life long hobby hopefully, good luck
I realize that mate. The laughable thing is that they come in a Tiffany pouch, inside a Tiffany Box (with authentication that it is sterling silver) inside a Tiffany bag. My wife has worn hers for a number of weeks and it shows no sign of discoloration whatsoever. We have bought sterling silver items for about 2 quid which our local jewelers have in stock and on show in their windows at 44 quid. We flog them on our local 50cent auction sites where they fetch between 20 and 25 dollars. Same with spectacles. My local optician charges approx 65-70 quid for photo-chromatic lenses plus frames from anywhere between 50-100 quid at a total cost of about 150 quid or thereabouts. I buy mine from Zenni Optical on line and almost identical frames plus photo-chromatic lenses cost me 18 quid plus about 4 quid postage. I would say that we buy most of our clothing, footwear and jewelery from China.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/guides/zymwq6f An interesting project for those who are, er, interested. One last piece of photography advice from me, never put your camera bag down and take your eyes off it. ****ing dirty thieving scum ****s.
Looks like they have a similar reputation to Calamity Jane http://www.consumeraffairs.com/health/zenni-optical.html
Ignore TigeRoo Sir Ben, forget jewelry, stick with the snaps...more money in it. http://time.com/3628565/most-expensive-photo-peter-lik/ You can remain anonymous even, like the bugger who took this pic of Billy the Kid. Shame he didn't collect the cash though. http://www.thehistoryblog.com/archives/11800
I like to do it underwater. When I go swim with the fishes. I'm finding my photos are a bit samey. Basically fish and coral. And the wife waving, not drowning. Any tips on how I could improve my composition?
The Francesco Schettino approach. The setup could prove to be a bit litigious. Would make interesting photos though. Food for thought. Ta.
Just come across this old thread. I started a new course in September, all photography based & not post editing. I've got a bit of a portfolio going on & have been part of a local exhibition. If somebody can explain how I make pictures smaller I could stick a couple up. The site is telling me they're too big to upload.
I just copy and paste the picture onto a blank word sheet, then right click and then click size, and reduce the size and then it can be posted.
