Our squad at a glance

Dead right which is why I would give many from our u23 squad a go in pre season as their desire and energy is what we need and we see how they perform against experienced teams. Obviously have a few older heads to guide them such as Catts, Larson Jones Oviedo (??) and N'Dong. But its very much a gamble !!

 

N'Dong older head? He's just turned 23 hasn't he ?

I was meaning in terms of first team experience - but that's the sad level of experience we are left with - I really hope Oshea and Larsson renew their contracts as their experience on and off field will be so important . Why do we always get in to messes like this ... cos we are Sunderland

 

Well we now have O'Shea signed

 

We don't need Larsson at all. He's not even as good as Embleton and Ethan Robson now. We have Catts Ndong Rodwell Honeyman Gibson. More than enough at centre midfield.

Oshea was an unfortunate necessity as we are woefully short at centre back. A one year deal is smart and gives Beadling and Ledger a year to show they can make the step up

 

I think his experience of football and Sunderland will be a massive help to the young squad both on and off field at the moment.
