That's a bit of bad luck tic, no doubt you'll be checking in now and again to see how we're doing.
Originally in East Hull ('til I was 3 I'm told - no memory of it except vaguely East Park), then moved to Anlaby and finally Hessle when I was 5 - Beverley Rd area near Darley's pub. Left England for Canada in '72 after 7 years in Leeds. Toronto ever since. My late mother went to Boulevard school pre-WW2, can't recall were she said she lived mind.
Ever get to Toronto ?

I left Hull aged 13 to move to a village near Darlington. Came to Regina in 1975. Not likely to be in TO anytime soon but if it happens I'll let you know and we can maybe have a pint. By the way, having read many of your comments, I am largely in agreement with you about City. It's difficult for me as I only saw one game this season - the loss against Arsenhole in the cup. Anyway, please stay in touch.

Did they used to have this playoff game as the last of the season? The other two playoff games actually follow it on the next two days.

 

I'm sure they did too. It sounds stupid, but in their (TV & big business interests) wisdom I suspect it's something to do with the Euros coming up. More Championship players than L1 & L2 players are likely to be involved/going to the Euros, so that extra day or two for them to recover if injured etc. Who knows ?

 

Shiver....its cold in filey..i want to go back to bed but i need to cut my hair as its about 3/4 of an inch long and i feel like a bloody hippy...Also jump in bath and have a coffee .

Setting off to Hull at 6:30 am

Not nervous about the game cause win or lose it will be a great day .

If your going to wembley you are all winners to be honest because thousands of city fans never got to see us at wembley

Phew... I can't take many more of them!

 

We all had a great day, great result, not bothered by the empty seats. It is what it is. An absolute belter of a goal to win it, worthy of winning any match.

Huddlestone bossed the midfield - if he can give performances like that, he deserves another deal.

Hopefully this summer we can wave goodbye to the Allams and get on with recruiting some players.

I wonder if we'll be reacquainted with some old favourites? Brady and Chester?
