Fer would be a keeper for me but probably unrealistic. Good player in the right team and definitely premiership class.
Has Steve Black been shown the door yet? I get the feeling he couldn't motivate a junkie to use a crack pipe.
I can only apologise for my ignorance but can anyone please explain to me the exact purpose/role of Steve Black?
I think he was to us what Bez was to the Happy Mondays. No real talent but if you looked at the band members on a Mondays album he was listed as being on vibes!
He was behind the band of brothers that got us promoted last year. These guys can only be effective for a limited time though with the same group of players.
I appreciate that I'm not as sharp as I once was, but I now know that; whatever he did or should have done spectacularly didn't work this season, that he may have been the "vibey" mate of the team (I think that means some-time drug dealer), that somehow he was responsible for getting us through the playoff final via the serendipity that was the OBZ moment. TBH - not really sure I am any wiser.
In reality we just got extremely lucky last year at Wembley. Perhaps Gary O'Neil is available to come back to us - likely surplus to Norwich's PL requirements, perhaps Jamie Mackie too from Reading?
How about regurgitating the thread when they gave him a new deal one year ago, Water Boy? You'll find the same people then arguing that it was a bad move and it wouldn't pay off. Low & behold a few weeks later (at Burton?) he goes and crocks himself for another season. You strike me as someone (like Damage) who seems to need a forensic team to knock on your door to confirm to you with 100% accuracy that your Missus was playing away with her Boss even though you hadn't seen any action in 12 months and your old lady went out every night in a short skirt and high heels to meet her "friends" and didnae come in till 4 o'clock in the morning. There's enough credulous simpletons wandering the streets of West London without having to endure such sh*te on here an' all
