Terry Butcher summed it up well at the end of the match, forget Silent witness do the autopsy on this a disgrace...
In fairness Spanish ( being Irish too, probably biased) I supported Mick for a long time and he has had some results and performances over the last 4 years, but certainly now a big change is needed.
It's also time for Marcus Evans to come out of hiding and make a public statement to the supporters about what his intentions are for the club. I am usually against strike action of any kind but in this instance, I would support a complete boycott of the next home game by all itfc fans
If Evans still can't see we need some quality players then he just doesn't want to, if you play old men, 17 year olds, and players with a handful of games between them this season, this ragbag of a team can only fail no matter who they play against. OK we are injury hit and can't afford to lose any more players but that's no excuse for not competing for 50/50 balls and playing at a pace no more than a stroll, no urgency, no pace, no skills, no fight, and no hope, I thought this would happen which is why I didn't go to the match, but fair play to you Town fans who travelled you've been badly let down by our Club tonight.
How on earth can he stay ??? If it was my work I would of been sacked months ago and I only earn peanuts in comparison...
I think you might be right. I've just said to a mate of mine that I bet you'll give us a hiding next time out, we are ****ing awful!
I said at the start of the season I'd be happy if we finished one place below you in the league, looking bad for both of us!
No lessons learnt again. After a much improved performance against Blackburn why do we revert back to that nonsense like we did against Fulham?
Well that was ****in' awful. Chambers, Douglas and 'give us your shirt' Huggy Berra all guilty of aimless punts forwards. I can't wait for Berra to be gone. I'm embarrassed by the way he defends every time I see him A truly awful match by almost everybody. We're live on TV and Mick puts out a second string side like that. Sad thing is, I'm not surprised. A great opportunity to go through to the next round and maybe further with the next tie favourable and he spunks the chance. He has to go. It gets worse every year under this idiot. Out to league one opposition, league two, national league. Here's an idea, offer Lincoln 20000 a man for their starting outfield players and 250 grand compensation for the Cowley brothers and for less than half a mil we'll have a new team that would give the fans more to cheer about than our current set up. Mick's compensation might be a tidy sum though, maybe ME doesn't want to pay him to go.
