The rumour is £20m but i don't know. But Brian, he's not the player he was is so many ways. Some see Troy as the Troy from seasons past, he's not that man now. He has run his course with us, time to move on.
Would it not be better to replace him before you sell . And has he gone off the boil because of the way he has been used ?
i believe there's a number of different factors. He came back from Florida over a stone over weight, didn't lose it til late October, hadn't been able to shift himself til then. He began to train with Anthony Joshua, and bulked up too much imo, he's a footballer, not a boxer, he seemed to lose sight of that for a while. He hasn't won headers all season, last season he was winning them for fun. He flaps a lot and blames others for when he mishits a ball. An example of his bad Captaincy is that when Amrabat kicks a bad pass he gets the moaning and flapping from Deeney, when Mariappa kicks a bad ball he gets applause from Deeney for trying. Deeney has his favourites and it's blatantly obvious which players they are, he divides the team and isn't good for morale. And sadly, he has become that player he never was, head too big, but it doesn't translate on the pitch. A real shame because he has given so much, but sadly he is far more about Deeney than Watford these days. He has forgotten who he was and how he got to where he is unfortunately.
And he is the only one that try and pull them together and step in when it looks like one of ours is getting into trouble with the ref .he one of the few that can put a shift in . And sad to say who would be our captain ? You have a lot of knowledge about football in general plus you have a better than most info on what is happening inside the club . Marco Siliva said that teams go down because of the bad planing at the start of the season not Jan to May. I so wish he would come to us
Does Okaka look like scoring the goals Deeney has done? If he can finish like last night but sometimes for a big bloke he does go down easily.. I'd like to see either alongside Success.. Might look better then..
If Deeney and Watson go, we´ll be even shorter on home grown players and all. At least with Deeney you know he can get goals if he has service. Okaka´s scoring record isn´t the best - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stefano_Okaka
Niang not staying? http://www.espnfc.com/story/3128354/mbaye-niang-rejects-permanent-watford-deal-sources
he was so disinterested on Monday, and with is reputation, i'm not sorry. Such a shame that someone with such obvious talent can't be bothered to make an effort for the the fans who showed him nothing but respect.
Not too fussed if Niang doesn't sign permanently... He was good on occasions but not really often enough to justify the £15/16m he was going to cost us. The drop down the table from around 10th to 16/17th has actually cost us roughly a 'Niang' in prize money (ignoring wages, etc, of course)
He's still fatigued from all that sitting on the bench at Goodison Park, but is expected to recover at around 4:45 on Sunday...
Has this one been mentioned yet? Difficult to keep up, and the season hasn't finished yet. http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....ison-murillo/story-30340297-detail/story.html
I hadn't heard of that one, so don't think it's been mentioned yet. To be honest, I'm starting to get a tad blasé about all these South American players, and also players from Milan clubs. And when they fit neatly into the middle of a Venn Diagram, I'm doubly blasé...
Although he hasn't had too many chances with us rather not sell to another Premier league club. Think Succces can be a decent player for us. http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23111 BTW Looks like Niang cannot wait to get away.. http://www.wfcforums.com/index.php?...153944530197395_8892993288441673390_n-jpg.32/
