Sky has done us a favour for once. They read it out. Forced the club's hand. They have to respond now. I'd like some answers. I get waiting until January if Kazan wouldn't budge, but cutting off communication and leaving him in the dark is treating the lad like dog ****. Unacceptable.
Bri, with the best will in the world I believe the Sky news is following social media and passing it on. I have no idea what they have reported but I suspect it was a "Sky source".
They openly do it. Have done all night. It's not something they've tried to hide. They reported his message.
Just saying that they are no more in the picture than we are so not sure how they have forced the clubs hand over this matter.
Because it's an international sports channel and they've just reported very damaging factual information, that a player who's signed a pre contract agreement has made a public accusation that he's been put in the dark by the club. Why wouldn't the club say something? We don't hire PR officers to sit and do nowt.
if he did post that image, why delete it? Probably cos the club did get in touch with him: Why didnt we answer his initital call ?Moyes was taking a dump, Bain talking to the new GK and Short still trying to figure out the offside rule so none of them could answer the phone? There is probs a reason for it, but M'villa panicked and made a mistake by posting that image. Regarding the pre-contract, I cant work out why M'villa would fly to London if if wasnt to sign some kind of agreement. surely it wasnt just cos he fancied eating out in London and posing for some random lad so he (the random lad) could tweet about it ? lets hope it all comes clear soon
From the evidence of that something does need sorting or has somebody done something to Nick Barnes account. Social media would drive me potty as it looks so believable. Being the good guy I am I will go with Yann and his agent hugging each other as they have both got their way and made a killing out of the club.
That's defo Barnsey fella. Had a few chats with him on twitter about Cumbria, tweed and his match day notebook(it's quirky to say the least). He's a pure Gentleman.
IF we don't have a pre contract something is going on because you cannot tell me no other club was interested in taking him from Kazan? Maybe the big fee put others off but some would have tried harder? there is something more to all this than meets the eye. David Moyes could very well be playing his cards very close to his chest. If we have lost him all together now then the club deserve all they get as he is a 20m player so even for 7m which is madness for 4 months its well worth it because if we don't have a pre contract he will have loads of clubs after him on a free offering him mega money.
Surely we have a pre contract agreement? Why pay over £13 million for N'Dong when we could have had M'Vila for supposedly £7 million. Unless we have a pre contract arrangement, or there is some other undisclosed reason for not getting him now, then that wouldn't make sense, would it?
so it's all your fault. you should know never to let a scouser get between you, your lighter and your candles. esp them tea-lights.
I don't understand anything about the M'Vila situation. I can't fathom why he was in England to speak to us but apparently not to sign, and why he's posting pictures saying his heart is broken. None of it makes sense to me. The best explanation I have is that he was here to agree to the pre-nup but briefly got upset when he thought we weren't going to speak to him although we did shortly after. Still doesn't sound right though.
