Don't we owe Salisbury a friendly after taking DC from them to be our assistant Manager. I believe the original was cancelled because of our injury problems

 

Bump to add 3 new fixtures - Cirencester, Reading and Arsenal U21's / Development squad (part of the Matt Macey deal!)

 

Be nice if Mickel Andersen was our keeper against Reading

With Bath Struggling it would be nice to add them to the list

 

We usually do a friendly with them dont we? They are usually 1 of the 1st games arranged too.

 

Another friendly added to the list that is confirmed. Man Utd. Thats Mangotsfield Utd by the way

The list of pre-season friendlies on the OS doesnt show the Paulton Rovers friendly. I asked Rovers via twitter if the Paulton game is actually taking place because on Paulton OS, they believe it is. Rovers tweeted back saying its our u18 side friendly fixture. Fair enough I thought but reading the Paulton article on their OS, it comes across to me that they are expected players from the 1st team squad, not u18s.... http://www.paultonroversfc.co.uk/news/pre-season-friendlies--update-1399838.html

I think I should leave the Paulton fixture on the list in case, unless you think best to remove?

Is eight friendliest more than usual? Seems quite a lot...

 

I keep hoping for one against WSM or Clevedon which is on my doorstep

 

Some of them will be U21/Professional Development sides.

 

Another friendly added to the the list - Sutton Utd away on 12th July. Thats a lot of games in quick succession! 11th, 12th, 14 & 15th July- 4 games in 5 days!

 

Probably a couple of teams - an A and a B team?

 

Getting a bit silly now....perhaps the BRSC youngsters will play one or two of the fixtures!
We don't want to be picking up injuries pre-season.

 

May be a good way of getting all the players familiar with the DC way...
