These 4 games will probably decide if we are still in a relegation battle or not . I think we will move up a bit in the table myself . The best way to explain how much crap we were in is we've won 4 of our last 6 games and are 3 points from relegation ... and some very tough games in our past 6 . Clement was thrown into the deep end without water wings and surfaced right away ... lucky us .
He's a swimmer that's for sure Roof. I think we'll gradually float our way up the table finishing somewhere between 11-15th imo. If we continue to progress under Clement then we could well be in for a very nervy summer. The manager merry-go-round may kick-off at the end of the season as Arsen Wenger is due to leave Arsenal. If Arsenal decide to appoint a manager currently plying his trade in the prem then the domino effect could be catastrophic for us.
The Arsen Wengar is an interesting scenario That could very well put the cat among the pigeons, I don't think he will leave Arsenal where he has been the best manager ever for them with an impressive record to match. He is not only the manager he is a share holder also so I cant see him leaving at all....Only retirement will see him leave and he has no intention of retiring from managing as he has made clear.....
I don't think so, now if he has a great season next year then I can see us looking for a new manager at the end of 2017/18 season. I don't think he will have been in the job long enough for a top side to come calling. Lets not get ahead of ourselves though, he has to keep us up yet.
I'm hoping it's just not Clement Stumpy . Makelele and Carroll joined us on the same day ..Jan 17th . Makelele might not have had a lot to do with Carroll coming in but I'm guessing he has a lot to do with our defensive posture since they came in .. including Cork and Carroll . 3 wins out of 4 since Makelele joined us .
Don't think Arsenal would come calling TLF but say Weneger does go then Pochetino (could you imagine the fall out) and Kouman could be in the frame. Clement would match up nicely for Spurs and would be good for Everton too imo Another manager to worry about of course is Rannieri, regardless of how well Leicester do the rest of the season I think he's on the way out come summer so, who goes there? Kouman? Pullis? Sparky? Clement, Leicester got tons of cash. All hypothetical but once the merry-go-round starts, who knows where it'll stop. If Leeds miss out on promotion what odds on Monk to Southampton? Just a bit of fun, as you say TLF we have to avoid relegation ourselves first
Arsenal could always go for an out-of-work manager like Bob Bradley and then there would be no need for a merry-go-round. And if Lineker becomes manager of Leicester there would still be no need for a merry-go-round. Wasn't Eddie Howe's name linked to Arsenal? Then 'arry could go back to Bournemouth. All sorted and nothing to worry about.
If Clement does well the rest of this season , I can see him being our longest top flight manager ever .
Lost but not the end of the world as only Palace won so we keep our position. Predictions standing up so far so league looks like this with just Leicester to play. Predicted League 22:00 27/02 1 Bournemouth-------26 2 Swansea------------24 3 Crystal Palace------22 4 Middlesbrough------21 ------------------------------ 5 Leicester-------------21* yet to play 6 Hull--------------------21 7 Sunderland----------20 I should start betting on the results.
All the strains, all the stresses, all the pain, every kick of the ball in every game we've endured to now has been a rehearsal in preparation for the most important 4 games of football we'll play in decades and it all starts March 4 at home to Burnley.
A banana skin game for us . the Foxes are up on Liverpoo as we speak so we need the Burnley game to set a theme for the next 3
If result stands we drop to 16th, just 2pts from relegation zone. Never thought I'd ever say this but c'mon Liverpool, you useless bastards.
Leicester have 3 and Liverpool are ****, its a Klopp out 55. Two mid table sides with the home team dominating. 22:00 27/02 1 (14) Bournemouth-------26 2 (15) Leicester-------------24 3 (16) Swansea------------24 4 (17) Middlesbrough------22 -------------------------------- 5 (18) Crystal Palace------22 6 (19) Hull--------------------21 7 (20) Sunderland----------19 It begins Sat March 4 Man Utd V Bournemouth Man Utd home - W2 D2 L0. If those predictions come true it would be a great weekend for us. A Leicester Hull draw would be OK as well but we want all our other rivals to lose. Most are away to tough opponents and Sunderland are home to Man City who had better win as I am fed up of the top clubs letting teams at the bottom off the hook!
I feel we've turned a corner and are now chasing down teams ahead of us and not so much running from those behind. I've included Burnley and Watford this week who are both in sight and a win for us against to their loss would place them dead ahead.
