Alfie can play with us or sit on the bench at Spurs and run the risk of ending up in Scotland........
Valley I still rate him above Maguire, who they are apparently chasing. Maguire for me is slow and ponderous and looks like he needs to lose a couple of stones.
After watching the playoff final could Danny Williams be the type of ball winning, energetic midfielder we need without breaking the bank.
I do quite like him, it is hard to judge whether he could step up against better players. but at the right price may well work. would imagine Reading would want quite a bit though.
Congratulations to Huddersfield in gaining promotion to the premiership I am of the opinion that if a young player gets the opportunity to join a big club then we should not stand in his way .....I hear fans saying he would be just bench warming and my response to that is just look at Ben Davies and what he has achieved and is now a regular player in Spurs first team....It is players like Alfie that bigger teams want that we must not let him go cheaply but there is a balance we must observe if the lad wants to go....
Not sure I am over happy with that, another cast off, I suppose he is young but we have one of those already in Mcburnie, rather we looked for a more experienced striker, scoring record is not to hot either in club football, better when playing against his own age.
He's scored 4 goals this season, 2 of which came in the same game. Hope we don't sign him. That strike rate is nowhere near good enough.
Lets hope he continues to learn here. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alfie-mawson-interview-its-gone-13110323
That's been doing the rounds for about 2 weeks now, hope he is a defensive midfield player as he has scored 3 in 180, hope he isn't Gilfy's replacement. But if he is a tough talking no nonsense defensive midfield player, we need one.
Valley is going to be happy with this. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/05/3...is-to-leave-swansea-city-for-galatasaray-tom/
Good luck to Gomis, He is a good player that he has proved plenty of times and i think that he either could not play our style at the time or more the case we never used him well...Either way the lad has done good that he is a wanted player.... We on the transfer market are more about players leaving and nothing about Quality signings like other sides and too me this shows that Huw is in full control who we will go for and that indicated we will more than likely struggle again next season and Clem dont have much say on players.....What the hell are the owners doing about it because the Fans are being taken for mugs by Jenkins again...
He comes across as a humble lad to me. He is fully convinced he has the potential to reach the top, but is humble enough to know he still has a long way before he fulfils his potential. He also has a little 'good' arrogance about him too.
