Vito is an odd one. I didn't watch the game but by all accounts Palace were ****e, whereas putting him in makes them sound unlucky.
He may have done, but he certainly wasn't the best right back this weekend, as he played in midfield.
Of course not, but he was slotted in to a position he can play, as tends to happen in those sorts of teams. It's better than when you end up with strikers at centre midfield or other rubbish where they've never played that position. The statement that 'he's just making up positions now' was silly when Antonio can in fact play there.
Who Scored have him on theirs as well and they do theirs based on stats, so presumably he did have a fair bit to do in the game (I didn't see it either).
Benteke gets in after being part of a team that got thrashed while Defoe gets two for the winning side and doesn't get selected. Benteke must have nearly scored loads of times.
Talksport have Ranocchia and Huddlestone in theirs... http://talksport.com/football/premi...rt-picks-best-xi-gameweek-24-170206226661?p=0
Saves of the Week (Jakupovic's save from the Henderson strike is on there)... http://www.skysports.com/football/n...turing-thibaut-courtois-and-kasper-schmeichel
N'Diaye in a European team of the week. Apparently Marco was once loosely linked with becoming the manager of Sporting Lisbon! http://sportwitness.co.uk/hull-city-player-named-european-team-week-liverpool-victory/
One issue I have with Fantasy Premier League is that it's unrealistic in that you pick 5 attacking midfielders and there's no place of def mids..
Good to see Ranocchia getting into a few of those teams. He looked like he had a great game from what I could see on the TV.
Jamie Redknapp's Team of the Week... GK: Mignolet (Liverpool) DF: Lowton (Burnley), Maguire (Hull City), Williams (Everton), Milner (Liverpool). MD: Sane (Man City), Silva (Man City), Barkley (Everton), FW: Heung-min (Spurs), Niasse (Hull City), King (Bournemouth) The Who Scored Team of the Week has three Burnley players in the back four, very odd for a team that lost.
