Roy Hodgson liked Vardy's goal. Pencilled his name in for the next friendly.

 

So pleased for Bournemouth to give themselves some breathing space from those further down. Newcastle have spent heavily but the question is will these players gel?

Can't see it, really level headed set up, they will go very very very close ( as I think they will do it)

 

There's a man with a fiver on Leicester to win the title at 5,000-1.

He's a Leicester fan, perhaps unsurprisingly.

 

Damn, Spurs look good.

 

Spurs are looking better this season, but the thing is that few teams are being consistent. They could as easily lose next week.

 

I switch over when the evil Argie's motley crew come on.

Oh to be a Leicester fan. Amazing.

 

Their fans deserve it. Best atmosphere I've experienced at a ground when we played them away last season. Few times when the whole stadium was singing and using those paper clacker things that make applause sound so much louder; made for a very intimidating atmosphere. Can anyone imagine the copses in the Chapel joining in a song?

Our board could do with a day out there. Everyone in the crowd armed with something to make noise and, most importantly, someone with a drum keeping the noisiest part of the crowd buzzing and singing. If we had that you'd never hear the opposition fans, which I reckon is worth several point a season. Space for a drum in the Northam close to the away fans?

Good luck to them, couldn't happen to a better bunch of fans and a team playing as a team.

Though they're not as good as Leicester.

 

I know what you mean, but am happy being a Saints fan. Leicester showing that it can be done....just wish we could have been the team to show it, but we always have a short period that blows it for us. I bet the teams normally at the top have been complacent expecting Leicester to fall away, but no sign of that happening.

 

My only worry for them is an injury to Vardy and/or Mahrez (or possibly Kante). Their squad depth is probably worse than ours now. If only they can keep their key players fit they have a great chance.

 

You could say the same about Kane, Aguero and Sanchez

 

Anyone hear Pardew interview on the radio after the Cherries game? Oh he is entering full unravel a little early. He usually gets through the first full season with flying colours. Five defeats in a row, one goal and a rant at the referees that back the big teams (yes, I said they played Bournemouth ). He also said that he has noticed that since he's been at Palace, he hasn't got the decisions he got when he was at Newcastle, proving the big club bias. A little trip to the naughty step coming your way, you loon.

 

So he claims decisions went his way when he was at a club that sacked him....so he was even crapper than they thought.

And I'm sure when talking about big club bias, most people don't think of Newcastle.

 

and fancy making that sort of comment when you've just lost to the Massive club that is Bournemouth*
