    I find it a very strange appointment. One of the criticisms man u fans had of LVG was the negative approach of his sides. So the club appoint Mr Anti-Football to be his replacement? Chelsea fans sort of revelled in their club's reputation for spiritual ugliness; can't see the mancs buying in to that. I've been wrong before though (once ir twice), so we'll see.

    That average tenure stat probably takes into consideration all the interim managers and such. So Wenger's 20 years might actually make it more realistic.

    True - but bar last season which was incredibly poor and at lot of it self inflicted by Mourinho, he has played winning football and been successfully Van Gaal ultimately wasn't.

    Even though they let him go, I suspect a lot of Chelsea fans will be pissed off seeing 'their' Mourinho in an EPL team. They will be hoping he fails...just as we wanted Poch to fail.

    Ah mean, median and mode, my first introduction to statistic manipulation .

    I did wonder while listening to the Sky driven 'Jose is the bestist manager ever' bollocks today if any of that would actually stand up statistically. Then I remembered I had to cut the grass, watch some cricket and wash the bike, so stopped wondering.

    The odds of any EPL team to win title...because that went so well last season:rolleyes: On that basis, Hull at 2000/1 looks a good bet. We are 9th most likely a 150/1....whereas WHU are 8th at 28/1. The ones above us are the usual suspects....though I think they have Leicester at too short odds. They got on a roll this season, but I'm betting they don't get near it next season.

    Doing Boro the honour of putting them in the EPL thread :) They seem to be coming up against the same problems we had signing Ramirez....something about a pre-deal with Penarol. Could end up costing them 5 mill. I don't think they are prepared to start the longest forum thread in history. :)
