£17,406,088,731: prize money now awarded in 25 years of Premier League. Man Utd become first club with £1b+ (£1,011,373,316)
So boro finish below us but received more money because they were on tv 13 times to our 8? ( boro the most entertaining team in the league )
So we got circa £97m this season and are due another £40m next season. That's a lot of money. Plus money from player sales, should give us a little bit of money to spend next season.
I think alot of the time because our sponsership deals/attendances/season pass sales etc arnt antything special alot fo the tv swallowed up by wages paid need to keep us competing Although would be great to see whats left of the tv cash after all expenses paid
It's gone up, relegated clubs now get 55% of the Premier League equal share in the first season (so £47m next season), then if they don't go straight back up they get 45% in year two and 20% in year 3 (though they're discussing reducing it).
I was sat by myself one match in an empty section of the stand and couldnt help but wondering if there is any other way of increasing income?????.
