Yeah, Tadic isn't having his best game ever, but eh, it happens. For that matter, you can see we're still getting used to playing in a different style, but best to get these mistakes out of the way in preseason so they can learn from them rather than making them in the league. I'm sure Puel will point out holes being left etc and they can work on them in training.
Are you citing the one incidence where Romeu sent him a long ball and the Dutch player got it off him.? Bit harsh, if so.
Puel probably doesn't know his qualities in a match situation ... and he won't until he tries it out.
I've been pretty impressed with McQueen too, actually. I'm not saying "he's brilliant, he should be in every starting 11" or anything, but he's played well since he got called on unexpectedly.
frustrating that they have a player sent off... Doesn't make the rest of the friendly quite as relevant / useful.
It seems that one of the big tactics when attacking is full backs get right forward. Worth remembering that these will be Cedric and Bertrand when they return....
