    Nobody bashes Blair more than I, but I think you'll find your kindred spirits carrying their pitchforks on the DM comments pages, if you're really concerned about Tory-bashing.

    But in all seriousness, seven years of austerity and the national debt has doubled to £1.7tn: thanks to tax cuts for the rich and pay caps on the poorest in the public sector, the gap between the richest and the poorest has risen to levels not seen since the 30's. I'm no fan of Jezza and I've voted against him in every leadership contest so far, but do you not think the Tories deserve a tad of 'bashing', as you so delightfully put it?

    Utterly wrong, btw. Union leaders are voted for and face electiions: totally the opposite to the unelected/unnacountable CEO's in private and public industries.

    Actually frightening to think that 56% of Trump supporters believe that Donald Trump Jr didn't meet with any Russians in the prelude to the election - even though both Jr and his father confirm that the meeting happened.

    Holy ****! Trump was right for once. McCain isn't a hero. Rushed back from his high quality health care paid by the tax payer that's keeping him alive to strip a quarter of the care he gets from 20 million people....then bizarrely chastises his colleagues in a blustering speech for doing exactly what he just did.

    Suppose he'll not have long to live with his decision.

    I dunno but when you appoint a press flunkie and he then goes and deletes all his non trump policy social media then immediately goes on a rant at some colleague calling them a schizophrenic it's rather amusing.

    When a republican from Alaska blocks trumps Medicare and then the entire state is threatened on energy rights.... that's pretty funny

    That's why I was curious. I didn't know if it was something new, or one of the other ridiculous things going on. The Alaska thing is kinda tacky but really it's politics. There's nothing new in "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine. I'll shoot your foot if you shoot mine".

    Normally done behind closed doors so the public don't see it, but happens all the time.

    Btw, Trump losing the healthcare vote (by a single vote, one of which was, John McCain, who, he had made an enemy of earlier, backs up what I said about assassination of Trump.

    It would be worse if Pence were president because he's almost as wacky but doesn't have enemies. Pence could get stuff done. Trump s always going to be stimied at every turn.
