Maybe that's why Ainsworth only signed him for 12 months being aware of his reputation as being too bigheaded, i imagine if GA doesn't get what he wants from Banton he'll be on his way as soon as we can get someone on loan to replace him, we don't have a big enough squad to include someone who doesn 't pull their weight but we'll wait and see what Ainsworth can do with him.

 

Ainsworths comments to the press recently about Banton having to adapt etc were quite revealing. Though he did go on to say that Banton was learning etc etc. we shall see as the season goes on!
It was interesting to watch his cameo against Barnet. He wasted the ball a couple of times when we were under the cosh (before the penalty) and as the opposition countered, you could see Ainsworth screaming at him to get back and defend. Which in fairness he did, but it wasn't his first, natural reaction.
Let's hope he embraces the GA way and then we have a real player on our hands. If not, as Mowgli says. He will play a little ( as we have no choice wih squad numbers), but will end up being the super sub all year and then be quickly on his way

 

Ellison and Edwards have both been giving 3 match bans for pulling Bean's hair from behind, watching the footage Ellison started all the trouble at full time which is no surprise.

 

Pulling hair, how childish can you be. There fans should be livid with both of them, I know our squad would struggle with these bans.
