Bit of a left field suggestion here; wanted to post it up and see whether this idea has any potential. I'm not one for wearing replica shirts, and over the years is been hard to find a polo with the club crest that is good quality that I like. Couple this with the club crest designs that we've all opined about, and the not606 meet ups that have taken place over the last 18 months, and an idea sprung into my head for a discreet not606 lapel badge. But here's the twist. A QPR crest based on DT Footspa's design [obviously with his prior permission]. With no reference to not606. Just as it is. Here's some examples. http://www.lapelpinbadges.co.uk/diestruck.html This would be unique to those who post on this forum and would identify a new [and otherwise anonymous / unintroduced] contributor. So when someone new comes into the Coningham or Crown and Septre to all other fans it would be just another fan with a QPR pin. Whilst it would take a bit of logistics to purchase a batch of them, I'm more than happy to pull this together, if there's genuine interest. What do you think ladies and gents? A daft idea; or worth pursuing? Your thoughts please.
Nice idea, especially the DT design bit, I'd buy a couple. Though it does make Not606 sound a bit like a Masonic Lodge........
if it's any help steve russell from the indyrs site gets badges made up every now and then and they're always great quality. you could have a word with him.
Thanks for the suggestion inkedupp. Thanks also to everyone else who has offered feedback; the broad consensus suggests that there's sufficient interest. As such, as a matter of courtesy, I'll wait to receive a post from DT Footspa, before I take this forward.
Steve's last badge was the crown and sceptre and his next one will be an irishRs badge which will be snapped up I'm sure.
A great idea Sku but.......Make sure you know roughly how many you are gonna get rid of and how much they are gonna cost. I wouldn't want to think of you sitting at home with 10's of unsold badges and being 100's of pounds out of pocket. I really do think its a clever idea though mate...well done.
I'll take a half dozen. I'm into lapel pins, badges, all tasteful of course as I know this one would be.
