Shame. My mate saw him t'other year. He was suffering with Alzheimer's then and struggled with the words of songs. RIP
I really don't like country and that's putting it very mildly. But respect to a good musician. RIP Glen Campbell.
No doubt he was very talented. Not a great fan of country music (well his sub-genre at least), but he certainly influenced many a musician since. RIP.
One of the all-time greats of country music....Galveston,Wichita Lineman...so many great songs. It was heart-breaking to see him struggling with Alzheimers in recent years. RIP Glenn...and thanks for the music!!

Have never been a fan of country and western, but Glen Campbell with his great voice and his guitar skills made his music worth listen too. RIP Glen Campbell.
Bob Harris summed up Witchita.Lineman perfectly when he said it's that good it almost puts you there.

Some good listening in this obituary. Interesting to come across the track he recorded because the Beach Boys wouldn't. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/music/what-to-listen-to/glen-campbell-10-best-songs/
