I hate to describe any game as a "must win" because what you want, or what you think you need, has no bearing on outcomes. However, anything less than 3 points today and it will begin to look like we've dropped off the pace just as it quickens. If we want to stay in the race for the top 4, we have to win today. Have to.

Agree and not just for the points...another loss or even a goalless draw and team confidence will be rock bottom.

We will finish 7th, 6th of we are lucky.

Our players aren't as reliable and other teams are taking points off us.

It's nice that we will improve on last season but in hindsight it is disappointing.

You may be right, but are we the only team dropping points to other teams? No. Brave it up a bit more, will you.

Unreliable players? FFS. I do find your posts very odd at times.

Find me a team in the history of football who went unbeaten all season.

    A= Arsenal

    Find me another

Would you like me to list you all the good teams who got beaten by teams beneath them in the league?

We have not got the character to continue at this high level. Clyne and Schneiderlin will leave if we fail top 4 this summer.

We need a LEADING STRIKER. Pellè is useful as a target man but very little else.

It's an improvement on last season but I hope those players rue those big opportunities that we have missed. Winnable games which we've messed up in:
    West Brom, twice!
    Swansea
    Aston Villa

Those teams should be getting punished!

You really don't understand how real life works do you?

Tell me what "useful as a target man" means.

Can you also explain how the hell Burnley drew at Chelsea please? I mean, how can that happen?

You simply cannot expect our progression to be one lovely smooth uphill gradient without a single bump on the way. Yes, we are having problems scoring goals, yes, we will address it. Unfortunately it looks like we won't win the league this season. Oh well, plenty of great memories from this campaign, and a ton of things that should keep us excited for the future.

It is actually quite interesting to judge people's reactions from a slump. The fact that we might sink down to the level of West Ham and Swansea is seemingly horrifying after being up in third. That is impressive in itself.

We pulled away a bit when we beat Arsenal and United, but now teams have jumped over us. However, we have only to get a couple of wins and they don't and all will change again. It's March now, turn the page, new start.

This has been a great season for us! Sixth is a strong possibility with a depleted squad. Just remember where we after the exodus with no manager. Proud, so proud of what we have achieved. l truly thought before the start of the season that fourteenth was our best position come the end of this season. We have beaten top four teams and with a little luck could have won more of those fixtures; l try not to forget of where we were in administration to keep some perspective to where we have come.
