    Line up for me -

    --------------Mitro---------------
    Wijnaldum---Sissoko-----Townsend
    ---------Colback--Tiote--------
    Dummett-Mbemba-Lascelles-Anita
    -----------------Darlow--------------------

Cisse has nothing but mobility on Mitro, but his first touch is crap, he doesn't look like scoring, and Mitrovic doesn't necessarily have to have long balls knocked up to him. Mitro can passs just fine and we look way more threatening with him on the pitch IMO.

I'd also either play Wijnaldum or Aarons. Perez has been poor recently and I think it's only harming him to carry on starting. I think he'd do better as an impact sub.

    100% this.

I'd like Gini to play because Dummett doesn't really go forward so allows a bit of freedom for the left wing.

    My Message to Pards:

Thanks for all your hard work whilst here working under ridiculous constraints. You kept us afloat on a League 1 budget, and what you achieved was nothing short of miraculous. The way our fans tried to hound you out was scandalous and they should all be ashamed of themselves. You left with your head held high on your terms. You've certainly been proven correct since you left as we have struggled without your managerial genius. It was great seeing you get to the FA Cup final proving once again that, with the correct backing, you can achieve anything you set out to. Perhaps our fans can finally realise the true meaning of "you don't know what you've got till its gone". I hope your sexting does not cause you too much strife, you only went further up in my estimation you absolute cad. We now have a manager of similar knowledge and stature and it will be intriguing to see two of the genuine titans of English football lock horns. Look, we are desperate and you proved time and time again you loved this football club. So if you can kindly hand over the 3 points it would be very much appreciated. Best of luck in the final and with your wifey. I'd refrain from WhatsApp, get a burner phone and go a bit more stealthy with the sexting/pursuit of clunge.

2-1 defeat Bolasie and Cabaye, Mitro replying late on.

Agree, you just have to note that it's much better than anything Chippy ever did.

    EDIT:

PS. As well as the 3 points could you also allow us to score 12 goals to help with our goal difference

    Thanks Big Man

We could really do with a big win against Palace or Villa to cut the amount of points we could potentially need by 1. GD actually really could matter for the first time in PL history.

But I hope Albert isn't trying to suggest this is better than the title of your brilliant headline game thread Trev. That would be rude, disloyal, dishonest, ignorant, misleading, scheming, confrontational and simply...well...wrong.

It would be almost as bad as someone blatantly trying to butter you up in the hope of being favoured in your truly wonderful and amazing game, oh great one.

Unfortunately I could well see this. Probably a draw, more than a win, just to squeeze out the agony like a two day old turd.

Spurs just drew with baggies at home.

Looks like Leicester will be champs and Pulis is happy...

Ah Pardew, the slimey silver-haired sleazebag. My mate supports West Ham, and apparently it's common knowledge that the reason the Hammers sacked him was that he was knobbing several of the players wives.

The occasional inspired moments, but mainly disappointments, embarrassing results, endless clichés trotted out after matches, and always having to put a front up for Ashley's idiocy behind the scenes....still after McClaren and Carver we realised he was THAT bad. Can't say I'm gagging for him to be back though.

Palace looking pretty horrific atm, results have improved, but still only 1 win in 10, very blunt up front, Connor Whickam ain't the answer to goal scoring problems. our boy Cabaye was on fire at the start, but been very quiet recently.

I'd expected us to win, if we lose we definitely deserve to go down.

I'm wondering if the silver fox will play a weakened side given they have a cup final coming up.. or will he want to get one over on the Toon?

Nah he genuinely had affection for the club. I don't think he'd wish any bad on us however much of a scapegoat he became. He isn't going to give us any points though, we'll have to earn them. They are professionals. The only thing in our favour is no one will fancy taking a kick and getting an injury now. I'd start super aggressive for that reason and it may be the perfect game for Mitro.
