Anyone going or been already? http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...avoid-queues/story-26345359-detail/story.html I've just looked at the photo gallery and theres a **** from work who went sick who's on those photos!! http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/pict...rinity/pictures-26344399-detail/pictures.html
He's cured? ITS A MIRACLE! I love real ale but those events have too many beards and sandals for my liking. On the blokes too.
Yep he's one of them and he's had a gastric band fitted as he just cant lose weight conventionally. Tried everything he has poor bloke.
I'm having a look later I think. Went on the Saturday last year and they'd ran out of everything except bottles, so it was a bit ****. Couldn't get time off work (even though it was my birthday) so today is the best I can do. If there's nowt, I'll be off to a pub. Fancy that.
Went Friday, top night. Excellent ale, and some fine warm black pudding pork pies with mushy peas If you don't like real ale you are a child
I went last night and spent 45 minutes queuing. One guy kicked off at the bouncer shouting that it was a shambles. After half an hour the Chief Organiser came outside and explained that their license says that they can only hold 500 people so they had to have a one in-one out policy at maximum capacity, which was fair enough really.
Queued about 25 mins on Friday To be fair they explained why early and it wasn't any hassle I particularly liked it when a woman strode up with some free pass thing ( saving her the grand total of about £2.50 in reality) and demanded she should be able to queue jump. The bouncer politely checked it and told her she would indeed get in free, but she would still have to queue I was looking forward to going before the Liverpool game today though !
