The only demolition involving Pompey anytime soon is likely to be the demolition of Fratton Park when you slide into non-league and can't afford your overheads... again.
It is a nice idea, but we don't want the pitch cut up by any team, which is why apart from big games or when the FA rules state it, the U'21s and U'18s play at the academy.
Or if Southampton beat Andover New Street in the Hampshire Cup final and we meet in in the Hampshire Cup final. However, because Southampton are so rubbish, they'll probably lose and we're unlikely to meet in the FA Cup any time soon for the same reason.
Who knows PL, once the ladies get the clubs backing then I would expect new players would be attracted to play for us, including the blue few lol
You know, referring to us as the Blue Few makes no sense when we get over the double the average attendance of the next highest attended team in the league. A few Southampton fans have played for Pompey Ladies over the time. My concern with a women's team getting backing from the men's club is that there may come a point at some time when the men's club decide they don't want anything more to do with the club and do something incredibly dickish like forcing them to change their name/kit/entirely rebrand, ala Leeds UNITED Ladies (I don't care what Leed's dickhead owner says)
