    Just seen it back and it was a bad tackle, but if he is 2 inches lower he wins the ball. Rightly a red but to suggest it is intentional is pathetic at best. He isn't the first and wont be the last player to break a leg playing football and short of 1 tackle from Keane, all are pure accidents.

    I hope Coleman makes a full and quick return.

    Not sure if I've read this right but are some really trying to defend that tackle as 'mistimed' and 'reckless' <doh>

    It was an absolute shocker and potentially a career ender. ****ing horrendous 'tackle' and completely indefensible imo.

    Also disagree that players never go out to injure others, I doubt he meant to break his leg but if you go in like then you wanna hurt the guy.

    No one is defending the tackle, it was a very physical game, the Irish set the stall out (Keane) to be physical, and our players had to deal with it, the Ref let a lot of it go, we tried to play football, but the challenges from both sides were heavy and should have been handled better from the ref from the start, I saw at least 4 Irish elbows into our players, and it didn't surprise me that we also got stuck in, Roy idiot Keane, is quite happy for his players to put the boot in if they cannot win fair, maybe it's why NI have so many injuries................<ok>

    It may have been a physical game but that post didn't really address any of the points I've made, just waffled on in a 'they started it <wah> ' manner.

    Seems like your trying to defend/excuse it to me... do you genuinely think it was only 'mistimed/reckless' ?

    <laugh>

    You know it mate, used to a thugs game in those parts <ok>

    <doh>

    **** Tobes, better piss off pal or he might 'let rip on you'... on a ****ing football forum <rofl>
