Barry Norman 83 RIP.
Very sad to hear that Carol Lee Scott, the magnificent Grotbags, has died.
There's nobody at the door.
RIP. Grotbags was awesome.
I always thought Miriam Margolyes played Grot Bags?
I'd have put good money on it as well.
Actress Joan Lee 93 RIP
Wife of Stan Lee, of Marvel comics fame. They were married for 69 years. She was reputedly the inspiration for him writing "Fantastic Four".
She's a funny old bird. There'll be stories to be told when she does go.
Nelsan Ellis Actor aged 39 RIP
He was brilliant in True Blood
Bob Dennison 83. Some older fans will remember him playing a few games for City but my memories of him are from when I was between the ages of 9 to about 13 when he was to myself and others a footballing collosus bestriding the Queensgate pitch in defence in the black and amber of Bridlington Town. Funny, I can remember all the names of the team he captained to a 3-1victory in the 1960 Yorkshire League Cup Final against Sheffield Wednesday reserves at Scarborough's ground more easily than City teans of recent years.
It's like those songs from 30 or 40 years ago, we can remember them word for word, but then we can't remember what we went into the kitchen for

RIP George Romero, one of the best directors of all time and the Godfather of Zombie films.
I remember the name, but vaguely remember what he looked like. He was playing in the same team as Paul Feasey, Brian Cripsey, Bill Bradbury, Brian Bulless, jock davidson, Billy Bly, Dennis Durham, Doug Clarke etc- for a couple of years in the mid-50's. Defender, maybe a fullback or half-back.
martin landau from the original mission impossible, etc. 89.
Played full back for Bridlington Town. Was as hard as nails.Later on he managed them.
Dennis Durham was a regular spectator at Brid Town games in the days Bob Dennison was playing . Quite a number of players who had been with City and never made it played for them in those days.
Can remember years ago a bloke in the pub who, no matter which City player was being discussed, would bring Bill Bradbury into it and declare they were not as good as he was.
