Of course they do. The Goons of all clubs appreciate the winning of the PL by any club with a prudent and sustainable financial/on-pitch philosophy.
There is always something funny when Spurs screw up when you least expect it. They are the best they've been for ages and genuinely one of the best in the league and title challengers. But in the corner of your mind you're thinking we'll do them over. I mean we really aren't that good at the moment and they should win, but pressure has a way of making people crumble. Spurs are favourites but it's a derby and they are.playing us, so we'll win. Actually we've already won it's just a matter of walking onto the pitch
Pochettino and the squad will be treating this game very seriously. An opponent who is in a dogfight to avoid having a summer of Europa League qualifier games is not to treated lightly.
Either way, it's going to be a cracker. Before the FA Cup final confirmation, this game would've been our cup final. But with Liverpool slipping up, this game has extra importance.
Jose doing what he does best, ****ing killing a big game, we can expect the same thing when United turn up at the Emirates. Time to put some money on a draw for that game.
Again, make sure that run starts this weekend This might be the first time I have rooted for Arsenal since the 2006 CL final btw
This one is touch and go. It's gettable but it also depends on other team results and us having a flawless ending. The Spurs and Man U games are the obvious toughest. Interesting seeing Mourinho doing his best Pullis impression against City and getting a dirty draw. We'll know what to expect when they play us at home. We will attack and they'll sit back and counter.
Chelsea still favourites as Spurs has it all to do. They need a result against us and that will be very difficult. I can see a draw in the NLD. They will feel the pressure big time. I would be impressed if they beat us but pressure has a way of changing the form guide.
I do not think you will get top 4 if you do not win on sunday, as your rivals have better/comparable fixture lists but more points already on the board. IMHO the question is whether you try for a smash and grab win or try to go toe to toe with Spurs.
I'll reserve my judgement on getting top until after the Manc match Sunday week! these next 2 games will determine our fate me thinks!
