Still 30 odd points to play for.

I think you'll find 30 is definitely even points to play for <whistle>

Indeed, and many chances to score the goals to take goal difference out of it.

I think we'll end up third myself but one game at a time, eh?

In theory we have more difficult matches but kloppyflop has found it much more difficult to play against bottom sides. Not through bad luck or attitude but because they simply don't have a plan B. Faced with a team defending with 10 men in the penalty area, they just cannot cope. I am surprised that they didn't beat City. City are the sort of team who play into their hands. Open attacking play with weak defending.

The RS are already ****ting in the pants as they feel United behind them <laugh>

I think we might snatch fourth or end up 5th.

I think Chelsea and Spurs will deff make it. Liverpool should with there run in but they do like to **** it up against teams lower in the table

If teams let them walk through them Liverpool will be close to top 4, if they happen to defend then Liverpool will probably end 6th.

You could argue that we are having our 'mare' few weeks right now - Pogba injured, Ibra and Herrera suspended - but we have strength in depth (at least a strength in depth that seems good enough to beat our opponents during that same period). We will have our key players fit and strong for the run-in - anything can happen to Arsenal/RS/City in that time - the difference being if they lose Aguero/Sanchez etc - I don't think they can still compete at the same level. All to play for - many twists and turns to come.

I am not saying we will do both but we are in a solid position (no jinx) to get either the Europa or a 4th place. To be fighting on so many fronts at this stage of the season is one of the pluses from JM. The number of matches played by United compared to the other top teams in the next few weeks will be unreal.

If and it is a massive IF United pulls either objective and like JM I would prefer the Europa given the choice, it will have been a successful first season for him.

And fingers crossed the enforced resting of Pogba Zlatan Mikhi and Herrera (suspended) could be a blessing in disguise.

They will return refreshed for the key matches coming up at home.

Third place really depends on City's next two games. If they can get something away at Arsenal and Chelsea they will start looking at getting second and it will be tough to catch them, but fewer than two points and they have nothing left to play for barring fourth, which is usually the point in the season when City's players just give up and look to next year.

Sanchez may already be gone based on Wenger's latest whining.

Although we really shouldn't be focused on Arsenal right now - look ahead of us and not behind. Both of our next two league games are a day before City's, so need to get good wins on the board so they are looking right over their shoulder when they play.

City have too much firepower to fall away.

Pep the genius doesn't rate Aguero so maybe we can sign him in the summer.

They don't need to fall away much to be within reach. Win our game against them and our game in hand against Saints and we are already ahead of them. Although I appreciate the chance of us managing both of those is slim to none.

Don't be daft. Aguero won't play such a big game. He's in their Nicky Butt team now <ok>

At the risk of jinxing it, Man City is no longer the City of the early season (10 wins in a row anyone?). Toure and Aguero who were their stars are showing their age and they are missing Jesus (!). We know what to expect against the Saints as we've played them before in different settings

As for the other top 6 sides, Arsenal are going downhill unless they peform a miraculous recovery (and injured Sanchez too). The only 2 teams we will face some difficulty are the Chavs and Spurs. The Chavs mostly because the match is between our two Europa legs. A very good result in the first Europa leg could make selection against the Chavs a bit easier. Spurs will start missing Kane and United should capitalise.

Everyone is expecting United to lose points agianst these top sides. One thing is certain: it is all in United hands. Unlike the RS who have to pray and start rimming to get a top 4 as both United and Arsenal could leapfrog over them if they win their games <laugh>

We have to beat all or most of the non top 6 sides (7) and we have got to get something from our matches against the big boys (4) especially Arsenal and City. If we are going to lose against a top 6, better the Chavs than Arsenal.

The RS are already assuming they will win maximum points from the rest of their matches. Haha, they are playing teams: WBA, Palace, Saints, Watford who **** them, time and time again. Never mind the likes of City Spurs and Arsenal who make life easy for them. They even suggested that we would need to beat City or Chelsea. **** it: we won't need to beat them to overtake a quivering RS who will lose more points despite referees totaly biased towards them: refusing to give barn door pens against them (Milner on Sterling) but awarding them dodgy ones constantly. With all the refs help, they should be up with the Chavs but Kloppyflop messed it up as usual.

Would you like to explain exactly where this assertion has been made. Not even Astro has suggested that to be the case. Does your utter hatred know no bounds, you sad, twisted ****? <doh>
