Can't see Joel Campbell dropping into the Championship, unless you mean Frazier, who's a total egg.

 

Whose Campbell?

I would like to see Armstrong given a few chances next season, if he starts the majority of games and we provide the service, then I believe this lad could hit another 20 goals and at 19/20 years old that would be massive for him.

 

I couldn't give a **** what we pay for players, its not my money. All I want is players who will see us do well and he fits the bill looking at his record.

 

I meant Armstrong lol. For some reason I often mix him up with Adam Campbell.

 

I had big hopes for Campbell, I actually think he had the talent, but was serverly let down at a crucial stage of his career by Newcastle. Hopefully we can learn from our mistakes!!

 

If we have Mitro, Perez, Armstrong and another striker (Riveiere/Gouffran but Cisse will go) I can't see us being in for another striker. £12m as well seems a bit out of keeping for us especially as we've just gone down a league.

Obviously if we sell more than Cisse they will need replacing but a 30 year old for £12m...not under Ashley.

 

For the goals he will score £12m is chicken feed.

 

Of course if he has anything like that record next season we'll rue it if he's playing for another team but - I'm going to get crucified for this - I think if you promised me we would have Mitro and Perez next season backed by Armstrong and Gouffran (who I think could be very good in the championship) I wouldn't see that as a weak point to the team. There are other areas that worry me more - Championship striker would be nice ofc.
