Rovers supporters club are asking for your nominations that should be included in our goal of the season. The FIVE most popular choices of goals scored will be included on the voting slips available shortly.

So far the following 4 goals have been suggested.

    1. Stuart Sinclair v Gateshead. HOME. 19/12/2014.
    2. Ollie Clarke v Telford United. HOME. 01/11/2014.
    3. Ollie Clarke v Eastleigh. AWAY. 30/09/2014.
    4. Tom Parkes v Altrincham. HOME. 21/02/2015.

If you want to nominate a different goal, it explains how to do so here http://bristolroverssc.co.uk/2015/03/14/goal-of-the-season/

A finalised list will be made on Thursday 19th March. So get nominating.

    Not my choice either!

I have tweeted them Harrisons goal at Halifax. Reminded me a bit of Gazzas goal in Euro 96 vs Scotland. A bit.

One of my faves this season was Adam Cunnington's third minute strike against Woking on the 20th of September. On paper this looked to be one of the more difficult ties that we would encounter this season and to score that early on was just what the doctor ordered and I felt put Woking on the back foot for the rest of the match. It was a well crafted goal with some quick interplay, a fine cross and an exsquisitely crisp volley at the far post in front of the home faithful, there will probably be more spectacular but from a team point of view this one would be hard to beat.

Yes it was a good goal, and it was also a collectors item: a good cross by David Martin. Probably his only one for us.
