big match against a relegation rival. really need the 3 points here.
How many go down at the end of the season?
2. we're 3 points above Derby who are second from bottom, 2 matches left.
Valery off injured
Not hugely exciting so far.
0-0 at half time.
Sims looked good for first 25 mins or so but hasn't been as involved since.
Ref seems to enjoy blowing his whistle
HT. saints were well on top for the first 20 minutes and had a couple of really good chances but derby came back and ended the half in control, without creating much. 0-0. Ref had to make Hassen remove a necklace he was hiding .
0-1 derby, their first real attack of the second half.
These guys are terrible.
Too many players taking too many touches unfortunately.
Gardos and Martina are ****.
Martina struggles even at U23 level
You can't blame the defence alone for this. The attacking 4 had about 150,000 chances but couldn't finish. Should have been a stroll.
The only real chance that i can remember that didnt end up getting blocked by a last ditch effort by a derby defender was that one at the start by Seager i think. I think we played the ball too slowly and took too many touches which didn't help us(they almost looked jaded), but credit to derby, they defended well.
Can't say the same about our defence. gifted them several chances.
Ready for 1st team consideration then #thesouthamptonway
Ronald Koeman in slagging down our academy shocker: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...afraid-play-youngsters-no-matter-southampton/
He's Everton manager now. He should just keep his mouth shut. Prick. More and more I think he lacks integrity.
What a tool.
