Yes , what am I doing hanging round , and Day dream believer to name just a couple more . I think my Favourite is Listen to the band .
Not forgetting U2. I consider myself a bit of an early discoverer of them, and then I went off them. Bought a few albums and gave a few away. I kept The Unforgettable Fire and The Joshua Tree, and I play them once a decade or so. Anyway - Sunday, Bloody Sunday: Looking forward to Tuesday afternoon. Nice MBs track.
Oh yes, love a bit of Black Francis.... Here is one off of Pixies latest album with a kind of Sunday theme and our wonderful team of course!...
Pixies are probably the best live band I've seen, despite their complete lack of audience interaction! I wasn't overly enamoured by Head Carrier though, i felt Indie Cindy was much better and had more memorable songs. Similar situation with Dinosaur Jr's latest effort compared to their last couple post-reunion.
The TV programme was genuinely funny too. I was a bleedin' Who and Doors fan, but I did admire the band's ability to be both funny and knock out a catchy tune. Would have been very uncool to admit that of course!
This is my old man's favourite, he was always singing the songs in the bath, he has a beautiful tenor voice...
