https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/video/watch-premier-leagues-most-profitable-143214330.html List of the most profitable European academies since 2012....we are 2nd at £75.67 mill, beaten only by Barcelona at £77.5 mill.
Without checking I assume that doesn't even consider the fact that in "paper terms" we created the most expensive player in he world* and should have had 20% of hat fee added to our total, to take us top. * as of now *
I know, hence "in paper terms"... That's my point. It doesn't include the real "value" to us of Bale through that deal.
Another unpopular opinion coming up. Bale wasn't destined to be the most expensive player as soon as he stepped foot inside Staplewood. He left us as a good player, he became a Real Madrid player after he left. Sorry.

Why is his salary relevant? Should you and I pay different speeding fines to each other if we earn different amounts?
I just feel it's hardly a punishment for someone like Clasie ... that would be a third of my months wages gone! It's probably not even 5% of his wages. I would feel punished and probably not do it again. It would hardly deter a multi-millionaire as they could pay it without even noticing a drop in their finances.
Fines are set to match the offence not the ability to pay. The three points on the licence are more likely to be of concern.
I got fined for speeding once when I was allowed to drive. £327 is two weeks worth of pension. I would have to starve to pay that.
You'd be ok Godders if it was you in this case. The judge would give you a lecture about safe driving, you'd give him a load of lip about how you were doing stuff while he was in short trousers, the judge would hold you in contempt of court and you'd get sent down for three months, where you'd get fed free of charge.
