Not entirely surprised that our team put together over 4 seasons to play a Plan A 4-2-3-1 or a Plan B 4-3-3 are struggling to adapt to a system that isn't played anywhere else in the Premier League. How long will Puel continue with this experiment before he reverts back to a more workable system that the players feel comfortable playing?
Probably when he sees it showing no signs of working. Currently there have been signs of it working, so my guess would be not yet. We are doing something different. It can take time. People don't like change. Fans seem to like it even less.
This system is Puel's preferred one, but has been said elsewhere that he can change. Bit too soon to throw out the baby with the bathwater. Think how long it will take to undo his training so far....remember footballers are bears of very little brain. We can't confuse the little darlings.
Have you seen the diamond system work? Especially when you try and mould a set of players who were bought and trained over the last 4 seasons to play 4-2-3-1. Do any of the Premiership teams play the diamond? I hope I am proven wrong and it turns out to be a master stroke by Puel but I am not holding my breath
Can't see people taking the piss out of that. How long before photos of various players who have left get tweeted in?
Yoshida has been a great team player for us...obviously popular with the others. Happy birthday, Yoshi.
