Bertrand himself reckons he'll be fine. Tbh, McQueen played like a seasoned campaigner against Inter. I didn't notice any gross inexperience from him. So unless his hamstring goes too I think we'll be fine at LB. Cuco on the other side.
I didn't know hamstring strains were contagious, but there is no other explanation for the current outbreak.
Well hopefully we haven't been training on pitches that Newcastle would be familiar with. Or perhaps hamstring strains are like buses. The club is in unfamiliar territory. The last time Saints played 3 matches regularly per week was 12 years ago, and that didn't last long. Prior to that we were banned from Europe every time we qualified, so the early 70's and 80's was the last real experience. Basically, the data is new and the club is getting used to this new now. I expect Saints to have a quick learning curve, like they invariably do, and to come out the other side, of this little streak of strain injuries, stronger. If we continue to progress this might be a season where Saints make a rare venture into the January transfer window.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/sam-mcqueen-plays-down-gareth-9102194 McQueen keeping his feet on the ground and fending off the idea he is like Gareth Bale. As he says, everyone is different even in they play in the same position. Inevitable he should be linked to other previous Saints players (because the media like simple tags for people), but he should concentrate on being the best Sam McQueen he can be.

A French journalist Henri Clair on the recent guardian podcast continues to wax lyrical about Claude. He claimed pre-season that Claude was a shrewd appointment and was quick to throw in the i told you so's The group of journalists also mused about whether Steven Davis would earn more plaudits if he had a more "interesting" name. Just bought one of my rare tickets....Liverpool on the 19th November...don't care who we play, but I like matches at 3.00 pm on a Saturday. A very rare bird indeed. No one had better change it
