Echo talking about Caceres position. We paid a lot of money to get him in, but that was forced on us by a need to get an experienced CB in case Maya or Jack weren't up to it or injured. So even if unused, he's not a waste of money....we could hardly afford to enter the second half of the season with no back up. Puel obviously has faith in our present CBs and his duty is to them (as our players) rather than to Caceres. Shows that he isn't rated above Maya and Jack and is unlikely to get a contract. We do have a lot of games coming up, so it is possible he may get a game if someone needs a rest. Tough on him as he will be looking to impress and get a contract elsewhere.

Echo also mention Virgil...does anyone really expect to see him before the end of the season?

I was devastated to see the photograph of the badly injured Ibrahimovic???* on the back page of the Times this morning and I was so looking forward to seeing him at St Mary's.

I personally feel that type of behaviour is despicable and hope Zlatan make a full and speedy recovery. Wouldn't wish injury on anyone.
