I awoke not long ago from a dream in which we beat Spurs 3-0. Well, 0-3 actually, we were away so I guess it must have been Boxing Day.
Just in case nobody else noticed. Cuco's gone: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40637068 Best of luck to him.
Pleased that CM has found another club and no doubt a lovely pay day as he seemed a good chap Really surprised that a fast rising club like Everton wanted him as he is at best low Prem/ Decent Champ standard but I guess he has a top agent
Or... he was well known to Erwin Koeman who suggested he came to Saints in the first place. He proved an able squad member who filled in when needed, did ok (nothing more), always seemed to be smiling and I bet was popular with the squad. Some people would be amazed to see the impact a smiling face can have on an environment.
A reliable player with no behaviour issues can be an asset to a manager....especially when they have previous history. Can fill in when needed but doesn't whinge when he isn't picked. Good to have two good players vying for the same place, but the situation can deteriorate if only one ever gets to play. Squad players have their uses. Only clubs like United and Chelsea can afford to have unused players who would get into any other team. Coco was free and probably on relatively reasonable pay....if Everton have space, why not. Having said that, I don't mind that he's left. We'll always have that goal.
Tickets for the Swansea match are going well...Saints have opened block 43. Have to admire the optimism of the Saints fan.
https://www.premierleague.com/news/439239 Not into Fantasy Football (as I'm too lazy to pay that much attention to anything ), but found this Sky article interesting...discussing JWP as a promising (and cheap) MF option. And part of the reasoning is that Saints have the easiest start of any EPL side according to some difficulty scale.
