There's something special about waking up and seeing this out your window... tinged with sadness that I won't be visiting it 19 times this season
What? Yet another thing to worry about. Will it arrive on time? Will my details be correct? Will it fit in my wallet? Will it be a big package so I have to be in when the postman comes? Will mine and the very lovely Mrs Godders' ticket come at the same time? If it doesn't arrive what should I do? What am I going to do if the seat numbers are wrong? Should I telephone and arrange to collect them just to be on the safe side? What if it doesn't come with a lapel badge my collection will be incomplete? Should I keep the packaging just in case it is worth a lot of money in 100 years time? Heaven forbid what should happen if they get lost in the post or get pinched because the postman left them on my doorstep because I was out? If the dog gets them before me he'll chew them to bits so what do I do then? If it says on the packaging "Do Not Bend" how will I be able to pick it up from the floor after it has dropped through the letter box? Life is just full of worries.
eurgh, Players getting injured after they start to get into the first team seems to be a theme. Very sad to here that.
Ah feck. A lot of our promising youngsters seem to be picking up long term injuries in the last few years.
We used to have few injuries, but now we not only have injuries...they are then out for a long time. Splinter....oh, that will be 3 months.
Liverpool fan replied to MLT's tweet about Coutinho saying no big club came in for Matty. Matt replied that was true though he did turn down Liverpool if that counts.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/fo..._back_in_the_Senior_Cup_for_centenary_season/ We are entering the Senior Cup in its centenary year. Hey, another cup...... we won't win
Many planning on Palace away? Thinking of driving, any reccomendations where to park? @Archers Road Did you drive there last year or get train?
I drove a few years ago and parked near the Railway Telegraph pub, which is close to Thornton Heath station. There are plenty of side streets, but finding non permit area is difficult. The rail was a nightmare last season, but generally i find it preferable to driving for this game. Think the money savings have to be worthwhile to make the journey by car
Cheers. Yeah that's my thinking my car probably do there and back on 30 odd quid. Plus money saved on beer of course. Early ko too so dunno if I can be arsed with bright n early trains, don't suppose you remember how much it cost?
