I am in self imposed exile supporting the likes of Filey and others who have had enough of the current regime and their shenanigans (although I believe Filey is now attending matches). However I am coming up on Saturday to see Wilko Johnson at Cottinghham folk festival and family (is that the correct order?). Anyway I desperately want to see City. Do I watch the match in pub and then on to see Wilko, or try and get a ticket assuming all the Manchester United ****ers living in Hull haven't got in to the home stands before me? Life wasn't meant to be this difficult.
I am fully behind people who feel they should stay away until the Allams have left. I was in a quandary about that also, but in the end having been watched and supporting City since 1958, and I never know how long I have left, so I took the decision that I wasn't going to allow the Allam to drive me away from the club.
I'd be very surprised if Phelan chooses to risk his key players such as Davies, Snodgrass, and Abel. It was the "friendlies" against the lower division teams that caused the injuries that have now left us short handed. Give Kuciak, Maloney, and Diomande starts, and Maguire if fit, and make up the rest from the young lads. Should be enough to take care of Exeter.
Wilko's a Ledge. Saw him at Dingwalls before it burned down in mysterious circumstances. Beat Man U for the first time in 40+ years then watch the dalek on speed: a day to be truly savoured I think.
I feel similar, I don't want to give Allams another penny but ive always admired and wished to see Ibrahimovic throughout his entire career. This is probably going to be my only ever chance. I don't think its wrong to have a break from protesting.
Go for it Evington,if you fail you've still got, hopefully,a good beer and a good match then Wilko Johnson. That scenario would have seemed impossible a while back. I don't get off the island much these days but when I do I have to take whatever games are available despite my feelings towards handing a wee bit o' cash to Assem Allam.I had the joy of PNE away and the home Brighton cup match last Christmas...loved both games despite the poor performance. If I was still close to Hull(Kingston upon Hull for the geography police)I'd happily go to away games but avoid the KC/om.Go for it Evington, you'll have a great Saturday either way .
A three own-goal hat trick by Zlatan - no way!!!! That is a very special achievement. Shane Duffy tried valiently to do it for Blackburn last week but could only manage a brace. Still, he courageously managed to top it off with a red card to demonstrate his unswerving commitment to the team effort
