I don't mind keeping Morgan if that is what we intended....if we keep him by accident when we had already mentally spent the money...not so good. Could blow plans out of the water.
Keeping Morgan by accident? Yes please. I think we can adjust our plans around that. Can we have more Whoops we kept a great player incidents please. And maybe some whoops we only bought you for a laugh but turns out your a Footie Genius moments too.
I don't see that as a problem. Position A is keep Morgan here and he's happy to be here and signing a new deal. I don't think that is really an option, however if I can dream, that is position A. I think if that was to happen, Ron wouldn't mind missing out on one or two 'squad' players if Morgan stayed.
I can't for a minute imagine Morgan will be happy to stay another season I'm afraid. If he does, and gets his head down, well he'll get a huge amount of respect from me. I think his head is very elsewhere though. Still, stranger things...
I agree 100%, I was trying to say that keeping Morgan wouldn't be "oh no, we'd planned to spend that money" approach.
Improve offer.......no just pay us the relevant price and avoid anymore bull-poop. FFS bargain at 25, that's what's so annoying.
I agree. He didn't expect to be playing here last season, but for mutual benefit he was and got on with it. Can't see that happening again.
Times are saying Morgan favours a move to Arsenal. http://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/sto/sport/football/Premiership/article1576945.ece
The Star says the same, http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...erlin-I-d-rather-join-Arsenal-than-Man-United Problem here is that Arsenal don't appear to want or need him!
Especially if people are willing to pay crazy money for Pogba and Illarramendi; with Schneiderlin a key home-grown player it is essential we do not compromise too much on a fee when he undoubtedly goes.
Great idea, match the price to the number of weeks passed in the year. We're in week 27, so that is £27m and the Transfer window closes in week 35!!!!!! Let's sell him on August 31st
