Having just spent 3 hours at a child's new year party (with 2 of my own i hasten to add!) all of them filled with sweets and fizzy drink and being tired, life doesn't seem that bad!
I get the impression we're not going to know either way for a few weeks now. The good news is that there's no definite bad news. Not a nice way to start a new year for his family
Usually in these cases if the patient survives the first 24 hours things have a happy ending, whether he makes a full and rapid recovery is still touch and go but I think he's out of the woods as far as survival goes. oh, happy NY folks (no I havn't PM'd RR yet, but will do soon)
That's quite a description of the event... splitting the helmet in 2 must have been some smack on the rock
wow, he really is lucky to be alive, catapulted into the air and coming down head first on to a rock, it's certainly a lot worse than the first reports of falling over and bumping his head
Very crass stuff by Ferrari turning Michael's situation into a Ferrari publicity stunt by advising fans 'to wear red', I'm sure there will be 1 or 2 Italian "Independent Ferrari vendors" outside the hospital soon enough knowing them. If Luca really did give a **** about some vigil for Michael he would of said wear anything F1 or wear something that resembles Schumacher's career in F1 rather than just focus on his Ferrari years. Tifosi arrogance at it's finest!
