I was painting my hall last weekend, which reminds me of your last (and only recent , since about 1876 is n't it? ) silverware, when I looked into the old 'paint pot' .
I know it's not the done thing to bump dead threads but I kinda missed the old girl. Where for art though, SB3?
I love Singing Blue's cheery optimism. He has a point about Southampton's long wait for silverware but I somewhat doubt it this is going to be quite as long as the wait he will have until Portsmouth next play Southampton in a league match,
He is it seems MIA somewhere - and although I know he attempts to turn the keys in many backs of the stripey variety it is rather quiet without him...and yes a meeting of the blue and the red and white is I believe a decade away - bar a cup match.
I almost considered a trip to Barnet this weekend, just so I could abuse some skates. When do you plan to start your irresistable rise up the divisions? This century, at all?
I think you will go up this year. How much work do you think the squad will need to competitive in League 1?
Well Barnet (just up the road from me) continue to disappoint, so you have a good chance of bagging all 3 there I would think.
Can't agree with you there meowth. We are too inconsistent under his management, and he remains too loyal to his "favourite" players even when their form is poor. Need a change of manager if we fail to win promotion, heaven forbid.
I reckon Paul Cook could quit if he fails to win us promotion this season. I don't think he would want to be sacked. I'm sure there are experienced managers/coaches currently out of work.
