I'm writing a short piece about Bristol Rovers' 2-0 victory over Preston North End on January 12th 1952. Rovers were 6th in Division Three North, Preston were 5th in the First Division and included the likes of Tommy Docherty and Charlie Wayman in their line up. 30,681 fans crammed into Eastville to see Vic Lambden give the Pirates the lead before Geoff Bradford wrapped up a memorable cup shock.
