    Steve McClaren that is.
So we've failed to live up to expectations and not got promoted but 85% of teams don't live up to expectations.
McClaren took a boring mid table team and completely transformed them in to title chasers, playing exciting all out attacking football.
He breathed new life into the club with 27,500+ turning out at the Ipro Stadium rain or shine and new investors knocking on the boards door.
If he goes to the Toon for £2m they've got a bargain as long as Ashley backs him.
Where that leaves The Rams is another story.
    For me he should stay.

It all seemed to go to **** when Chrissy Martin got injured and Newcastle started sniffing around.
If you can hold onto your best players then you will do ok next year.
It's a mad league as Wigan Fulham Brentford Ipswich and Cardiff have shown.

McLaren is not that special .
