I'll take your word for it, although I wouldn't imagine he'd look good in anything -except possibly a straightjacket.
Had another Senior moment yesterday. Unusually drove to the shop, and then walked home before remembering my car was at the shop. I am actually 55 today. Any chance this thread this is slowly progressing into my diary of my spiralling demise into dementia?
All the best Askew YOC. Someone stuck on here last week that we're all old ****s with minds of 14 year olds, maybe Al. Any road, I spent last night sat with my daughter in hospital, nothing serious. While we were waiting for her to be admitted we were listening to the old girl, Allison "2 Ls", 83, in the next bed, going through her questionnaire with the nurse "Are you ok swallowing?" "Yes, absolutely" Giggles from me, "Dad grow up" from my daughter. "Do you sleep well?" "I do, but my husband is up 5 or 6 times a night & I have to give him a hand" "Not bad for 83, no wonder your wrist is ****ed" "Dad shut up or you're going" I'm growing old but I'll never grow up. Happy Birthday!!
Haha,,Hey my first greeting. Cheers you old perv!! But you are right, we don't really get any older mentally do we?
Happy Birthday Askews I'm looking forward to following your dementia diary so I can know what to expect in a few years time!
I'm waiting for third party proof that you've actually got the right day before wishing you happy birthday.
At the bottom of our stairs is a mirror on the wall, late mother in laws actually, lovely 1950's thing, Art Deco or whatever?, anyway although I'm by no means tall, dark and handsome, think more Ewok, I'm just glad to see my ugly mug stareing back at me as I go to the kitchen to make a cup of tea. I may creak, groan, click (knees), but I smile, well with a face like mine there is nothing more you can do.
Well I rode to Anlaby and back yesterday 50 miles round trip, so not bad for an oldun. I was more thinking we might not see the EPL for another 20 or 30 years, but maybe I am just feeling down today.
