    According to the Portuguese press, he's got a meeting with Porto this afternoon, he's going to listen to what they have to say, but his preferred option is still to stay in England (in the Premier League).

    Thanks for the 5 months of hope Marco and good luck ,it must be the dream job for him, and to be honest i'm glad he's going home rather than staying in the PL,and being reminded week in, week out , what might have been if he'd had taken a job at another PL club and done well.

    Portuguese league is different from Premier League.
    PL is more competitive.
    maybe it is best if we get someone that actually wants to be here..
    please not Curbishly or McLaren.

    Benitez showed some class and stayed at Newcastle after failing to keep them up last year.

    Maybe Silva thinks he is better than that ??

    with proper backing, in the transfer window... with a proper preseason.
    Marco could really stamp his authority on the chumpionship.
    and then that could lead to a good go in PL.
