The then leader of the Conservative Party tried his best to silence it in the run-up to the referendum:emoticon-0127-lipss.

So Dodgy David didn't get his knighthood because he's a tax-dodger? Good. The next logical step is to strip all Sirs and Lords and Dames who are tax-dodgers of their honours. Their numbers would be sorely depleted.

What's left wing about wanting to strip honours from tax cheats?

I don't know<confused>. Surely Royston is not suggesting that most tax-dodgers who get honoured are of the right? Shock horror!

Interesting expose today of the sanctimonious jug eared adulterer Gary Lineker and his tax affairs.

HMRC records show he has been the "officer" of 7 different companies in recent years known as "LLPs" - created deliberately for wealthy individuals to avoid paying tax.

Turns out this self styled Left Wing icon and great champion of equality is not in favour of paying equal tax.

He is a champion of the 'Giving Society' as long as he doesn't have to be the one doing the giving <ok>
btw.... what does he actually do to earn £2,000,000pa (£38,500 per week) of BBC Licence Bill payers (who are predominantly poor people) money??? He does Tweet a lot I guess.

Always made me <laugh> that Terry Wogan was seen as a National Treasure for his Charidy work when he insisted he was paid £50,000 plus expenses for hosting 'Chilren in need' .... wouldn't that money have been better spent on 'Children' who are in need rather than an Irishman who was a millionaire?

Strange how public personas are often the opposite of the real person. Jack Benny made a living out of making jokes about his meanness; Larry Adler described him as the most generous person he ever met in his life. Anyone old enough to remember Wilfrid Pickles? He was the opposite, publicly all 'eart and generosity, actually one of the stingiest people on the planet. Big Daddy remember him? The Children's Friend- if the fee was right.

Anyone interested in tax-dodgers must read Private Eye. The well-researched investigative journalism puts a lot of it's noisier but lazier fellow publications to shame. And it doesn't care whether it's subjects are left, right or on the moon.

Another smart move he's made is to double the cost of staying at his holiday resort since he became President.

I doubt he'll be president in 2018. Nor will he be alive in 2021.

That nauseating picture today of Obama sucking up to Richard Branson on his yacht won't have done him any harm.
If Don keeps out the immigrants and creates the jobs, he will win again

Why is it pictures of a man on his holiday causes such disdain. if Obama was on a beech in his home state mixing with "real people" what angle to criticise him would the Daily Mail & its readers use. If you don't like looking at holiday snaps, Daily Mail, don't print them, then your readers wont have to suffer said holiday snaps.

Completely unfeasible to bring back jobs from China unless they make child slave labour legal. As for immigrants - they do the jobs the average fat yank won't do.

The inevitable recession will kill any hope of him securing a second term.

Because he ponced off the odious Branson for a week on his private island, and then posed for some really cringeworthy photos 'mock fighting' with the fake grinning twat.

Both Branson and Obama opposed Trump and Brexit, so they have not had much to grin about lately.

THE worst President in US history. A vacuous indecisive lightweight.
