    Good on the club.
I've been saying for ages that they need to step up their fan/community engagement.
The overall communication from NUFC has come on leaps and bounds, I have to say.
    Long may it continue.

Agree. It's good to see more regular communcation and I think the open day is a good idea too. Would be good to hear from anyone that went along, to see what they thought of it.

...and those boycotts last season didn't work apparently. I think this is a direct result of them.

    I'd agree here too.
It's made Mike re think how he runs the club and for that, the boycotts have served their purpose.

For me, that is what they were about. No-one thought that Ashley would sell up. They were about getting the club to listen. I think they have.

13,000 for a training session, some clubs would love that for a match

Did anyone listen in to Schteve? Apparently his responses included:

Fabricio Coloccini to carry on as captain
No bid made for QPR striker Charlie Austin
Emphasis in pre-season on improving set pieces
Still in the market for defensive additions
Intent on keeping Moussa Sissoko and building a team around him

Anyone hear how he came across?

He came across pretty well imo Obi. He seemed to love Colo and have some sort of sexual attraction to Big Moussa.
