Juncker & Co have deluded themselves up to now that the PM lacks popular support to walk away in 2019 & accept WTO rules. That will change in 6 weeks time.
I read, and it's not widely reported because it's not Pro-EU, that the European Union is also demanding that The City of London remains under their jurisdiction. Losing that would be very disastrous for them, not only because it's the centre of world banking, but the UK will be able to influence business taxation easier, policy, giving us a massive competitive advantage over the EU and actually go on to steal business from them.
Paris is already making noises about taking business away from London. We don't hold all the trump cards!
The Paris financial market is tiny compared to London. You've got more chance of us winning the Champions League then Paris even getting a quarter the size of the London market.
Charlton' s average home attendance fell by a whopping 29% this season. 15/16 - 15,632 16/17 - 11,162 17/18 - ?
The CEO's excuse is "It is normal for attendances to go down after relegation", but if you compare our attendances to last time we were in L1, even the second season which was very poor, you get a similar reduction. Our attendances held up because there was still hope and we all wanted to support the team on to better times. Roland has killed that hope.
It all falls on Roland's lap - especially when one of his main objectives was to improve the match day experience. He can't even get a large percentage to attend. I will confess though, I'm thinking of getting a season ticket again. 1) I miss the football. 2) time to scrap throwing ****e and sitting down.
The real attendance will be around 7,000 next season. Loads more Charlton fans posting on social media that yesterday was their last visit.
This is the problem I have found. So I've compromised, I go to a few home games, a few away games and don't buy a program or a h/t bovril at £2:20 a cup, instead getting one at the van afterwards for £1.
Hamlet In the play offs today!! Attendances grow You down there - reckon someone will come sniffing around them soon enough
I didn't realise that Roland has a management consultancy firm running Alcorcon. They are now down to 3rd bottom, having failed to score in their last 4 matches.
They were one of his rare successes last season - but as per, it all goes tits up with Roland around.
Goldman Sachs announce contingency plans to move staff to Europe depending on the Brexit negotiations.
Tony Watts new venture is gaining a lot of attention - Watt to Watch - a website dedicated to movie reviews from the man himself Fair play for doing something he loves, I'd never begrudge someone that, but he alludes to all the free time he has. It might be better spent working on fitness Surprised Nick hasn't blown a gasket about this yet.
