She's the greatest Head of State in the World and admired by billions of people worldwide. She embodies everything that is truly great about our Country.

    And totally unelected.

    Doesn't that tell you something?

Another load of embarrassing waffle from WGS after another embarrassing display from Scotland. I don't know how he can defend leaving players like Adam and Fraser out of the squad.

He needs to be pushed before he walks. Scotland have the foundations for a good team in years to come, but are digressing horribly under GS.

Speaking to a friend who was at the Canada game, said it was the worst game of football he'd ever been to. Scotland were beyond woeful, and the ground was pretty empty by the final whistle.

Ponders might be interested to know that I visited Bamburgh Castle today. It originally cost 4 pounds to build in 1164, and 300 years later it became the first English castle to be defeated by cannon fire.

I adore Bamburgh and it's rich history, but I find it deeply disappointing from a visitor's point of view. Too many of the historic buildings are used for the purpose of storage and admin; it has exceptionally poor educational resources; and it is simply overpriced. Needless to say I sent a full report of my findings to the castle's curator.

Dunstanburgh remains my favourite Northmbrian castle, closely followed by Warkworth and Hermitage.

In a surprise move today, Coventry City have terminated the contract of 51 year old Yakubu.

He played 3 games for the Sky Blues & failed to find the net.
