I think this new deal makes the club worth much more than 400million to him. Think about it, were going to pull profits of close to 30 million this season, once this deal kicks in we will probably double that. I think he'd sell for 500million, no less than that.

Perhaps, moot point, no-one will pay that, or anything north of £200m, ergo it's not going to be sold!

This TV deal is everything that is wrong with football. The grass roots game is dying, yet these corporations are getting fatter each season.

Every NUFC fan should wear a shirt with "Why Always Us" as the sponsor.

The only way things will change is if the premier league stipulate what the money HAS to be spent on. For example 10 million on the community. 30 million on players. 20 million on wages etc. the problem is this cannot happen. Having said that a prerequisite of registration and participation of football teams in the league could have a stipulation that the entities have to be not for profit organisations. If the ffp rules state you can't make a Loss of x amount then why not a profit.

One simple way of sorting this out would to be to make it less profitable to just hang in the Premier League so instead of the TV money being relatively evenly distributed make it more performance related. Rather than just simply on league position it could also be based on improvement from previous year and then also make an adjustment based on adherence to FFP.

Or they could measure all of the fans cocks and take an average. Then award extra money to the biggest average. I haven't seen all the Newcastle fans cocks (I think Obi can probably comment on a fair few) so not sure how we'd fair. One thing for sure though, it would probably ensure relegation for the short cocks down in Sunderland (JPF has started working in Sunderland and he reckons the inbreeding must have done some serious damage to cock length/girth, he can't understand how they reproduce anymore). Now they are no longer a guaranteed 6 points, they are of no use to us.

Yeh but we do have ACS. That would probably ensure we always finish in the bottom half at best. Do I take it you don't think much of my suggestion?

Our financial results are out in the next week or so.
heir content will tell us a lot about whether or not Mike is fattening the goose to take it to market.

I can't see how they will say too much about his plans. He can't make us much fatter than we already are. Maybe if he takes the generated profit to pay back some or all of his loan it will be a sign that he is clearing the books ready for a sale. Downside for him of getting his loan back is he will have to come up with another excuse for giving himself free advertising. With interest rates the way they are in the banks at the moment its probably a better deal to leave this arrangement in place.

So whats happened to them then. You promised them within a week - can you have a word please. Its the only NUFC thing of interest we have got to talk about here. The delay suggests some serious account massaging going on. He is probably trying to set up a Holding Company in Ireland to bill large management fees to the club for all that valuable time he spends assessing new transfer targets, selecting the right manager and tasting the club pies.
